Hola my name is Nazaret!

I created VIVIR CREATIVIDAD as a way to explore my passion for art, business, and mental health. My background is in education and mental health. I hold a BA in Psychology and an MA in Counseling. I turned to art as a kid and it became my favorite way to explore my creativity.

It wasn’t until I hurt my back that I really began to focus on my art. Art allowed me to explore how I was feeling emotionally and physically. I was in a lot of pain and physically unable to move. After months of physical therapy, acupuncture, and medical support I began to feel better (it truly took years to get to more “normal” point).

As an educator, I incorporated art for my students to explore their own creativity. It also opened the door for them to explore meditation, develop self-awareness, and strengthen their emotional intelligence.

With VIVIR CREATIVIDAD my goal is to continue to live a creative life. What does that mean? It means living in a growth mindset. It means prioritizing living in the present, being open to new opportunities, and staying away from the “grind” mentality. It also means ongoing work on one’s self by strengthening our self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Our emotional and physical health are equally important in living a creative life.

In terms of my art, I mostly create in watercolor. However, I also like exploring acrylic, oil, and mixed media. I love creating in all of these mediums since it helps keep me sparked with creativity.

I sell original artwork and prints. With my artwork, I create products for you to enjoy too!

I love sharing my knowledge of art materials with beginner artists and those who are looking to level up their work. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge of the business side of being an artist.
